PAST EXHIBITIONS
SUNLIT, 2021
'Sunlit' was a debut exhibition held at Noir, Paddington in December 2021. The works explored the nature of sunlight, particularly low, late afternoon light on various, typically domestic scenes. The technical aspect of this kind of light affecting an objects colouring (both brightness and warmth) was developed over the course of the body of work.
The works also explored the pairing of this kind of light with domestic and personal things, producing a sense on intimacy and sentimentality that may be indirectly reminiscent of others personal memories.
OTHER WORK
HOUSES, 2020-21
A series of paintings depicting local characters, both original and added to. This body of work is evolving through both commissions and collected images from neighbourhood walks.
